BUTTERFLIES AND HUMMINGBIRDS

Although others think me gone,
You and I know it isn’t so,
For I am the butterfly you see
Flitting in the garden to and fro.

I am always with you,
In every hummingbird you see,
Kissing every flower,
Caressing every tree.

I am the colors of the rainbow
Touching the horizon through the clouds;
I am the summer gardens
Where all children are allowed.

I am forever near you,
In every rose you stop to smell;
I am the moonlight in your hair;
I am the snowflakes that softly fell.

The skies reach through eternity
As I reach out to you,
In everything you see
And everything you do.

So remember, my loves,
When you see the morning light, the dew,
Know that I am there
And that I love you.
